Alexandra "Alex" Anderson

Alex is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over six years of specialized experience in aesthetic medicine, inspired by her own journey with skin challenges. She earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing and Psychology from Elmhurst College in 2011, followed by a Master’s degree from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Olivet Nazarene University in 2018. Before transitioning to aesthetics, Alex spent eight years caring for neurology patients at Rush University Medical Center.

Since entering the aesthetics field, Alex has become a skilled and thoughtful injector, recognized for her ability to deliver natural, confidence-boosting results. She believes aesthetics is about more than looking younger—it’s about feeling empowered in your own skin. Known for her warm and approachable nature, Alex builds open, honest relationships with her patients to help them look and feel their best.

In her free time, Alex enjoys being with her twins and her Australian Shepherd, “Henry”. Alex is a fitness enthusiast and loves to travel. She looks forward to working with all the new patients at Truly Skin!
